Teddy Wettlaufer — McCoy

Teddy Wettlaufer says Minyona has been McCoy's biggest driver of revenue month over month for the past five months, out of every lead source they run. Their biggest trade is windows and doors, and last he heard McCoy is the number one Provia distributor in Nebraska. He also talks about being able to see the ads behind their leads inside the CRM.

Joe

Joe says he used to subcontract five houses a week for $800 to $1,200 a house, sometimes $500 on the small ones. After almost a year on the program he is closing 12 to 15 jobs a month at about $5,000 profit a deal, spending $50 a day on Facebook ads. He says he can buy Christmas for his grandkids and take vacations when he wants.

Steve — Roof 757

Steve of Roof 757 says that in the last six weeks he has done about $174,000 to $175,000 worth of roofing from the Facebook leads. In the same stretch before the ads he says he probably did about $40,000. He is converting a general construction company in the Cape Charles area to roofing.

Bryce

Bryce says they launched about a month ago, spend $50 a day on ads, and are setting 20 to 25 appointments a week. Last week they closed 10 jobs. Asked about revenue in the past month, he says they are floating a little over $200K, with gross margins around 30 to 35 percent.

Dave McKeage — Roof Masters

Dave McKeage of Roof Masters in Maine says earlier lead programs cost $180 to $200 and were not that good. With this system the leads run around $40 to $60. He sold seven to nine jobs in the past winter month and expects about 30 percent of the leads to close once the weather warms. His family has been roofing since '51 and they charge about $500 a square.

Josh

Josh says that in less than a month he closed 11 sales and is a little over $105,000. He started around February 21st or 22nd. He had already run HomeAdvisor, pay-per-click, and similar firms with six-month contracts and false promises. He says the first day the ads went on, the leads started coming in.

Tim — Palazzo Restoration

Tim of Palazzo Restoration in Indiana says every penny he has spent has come back in huge dividends, and that the program has given him record months. He says it requires hardly any of his attention so he can run the roofs. He had been buying shared leads from aggregators; those got expensive and hard to reach. He believes COVID hurt, not helped, and that the same campaign without it would have done even more.

Neil — Tampa roofing

Neil runs a roofing company in Tampa, Florida, insurance restoration and retail. He says profit after commission is $3,000 to $4,000 a job, and at six to eight installs a week that is $18,000 to $24,000 a week in profit, almost 30 installs a month. He says all of those jobs are coming from this system after he had to shut down door-to-door canvassing.

Nine appointments the first week

This Florida contractor says the first lead came in three hours after the campaign went active, and that first week they had nine appointments with homeowners they would not have had otherwise. He hopes the marketing will add about $75,000 a week to gross over time. He is in Florida and had been running his own Facebook ads and HomeAdvisor-type sources before.

James

James was skeptical after splitting from a partner. He tried the $350 first week, got a ton of leads, and kept going. He says he has 10 roofs on the board in three weeks. His one-year goal is 200 roofs; that is a goal, not a result he has already hit.

Eight extra roofs a month

This contractor says that without these leads they would still make it, but the extra money matters. He figures they close about eight extra roofing jobs a month per location. At about $3,000 profit on a one-day roof and $4,000 to $5,000 on a multi-day, that is about $25,000 to $30,000 a month in profit per location, or around $80,000 a month gross.

$85,000 insurance job

This contractor says a Facebook lead came in looking for a retail quote and they converted it to an insurance claim. They sold it for $85,000 and some change. He says he would never have had a shot at that homeowner, Dave, if the homeowner had not seen the Facebook ad. He talks about building trust in the ads instead of just a flashy price.

Jim Rail — Rail Construction

Jim Rail of Rail Construction says he did a million last year. After a couple of weeks on the system he does not see why he cannot do at least three million this year with the crews he already has, and he does not think five million is unrealistic. He is in Pennsylvania. He says a lot of good leads started coming in once he started with Michael.

Jordan

Jordan says that since the leads started flowing he hired a salesperson, Matt Bird, and his wife left her job to join the business. January was about $50K and February was $80K, in winter, against a business-plan number of $20K for February. He wants to do a million this year. He says this marketing system is how they are getting all of their business.

Without this system I wouldn't be in business

This contractor says he has been with the program about seven or eight years. He says without it they would have no leads, and that TV ads and commercials do not pay off like this program. He says without Michael he would not be in business, and that the website and SEO have been a wonderful job.

A general contracting company

This general contractor says they have been with Michael about six months after a referral from a mutual friend. Before that they tried five or six marketing companies that oversold and underdelivered. He says onboarding was simple, and since then they have had a steady influx of good-quality leads with a real return.

Paul

Paul says the first month of the new campaign sold 10 roofs with $125,000 in sales. He says asking about gutters and a free gutter giveaway has led to upsells, and that homeowners like the honesty on price. He intends to run the campaign all year.

From $1 million to $7 million

This contractor says the first year they used the system they did a million, last year $2.3 million, and this year they will do about $7 million, possibly more. They had a $960,000 month. They started as two brothers and now have 10 full-time employees plus crews. He says Facebook is number one; TV and billboards have been weak.

$50 a day, leads every day

This contractor is spending $50 a day and says this month has blown up, with one to two leads almost every single day. His goal this year is at least $1.5 million. He has been going on a few appointments a week at that spend and wants to raise the budget. Erie Metal Roofing is named only as the sales training system he learned, not as his company.

Up 30% as a company

This contractor says the company is up about 30 percent overall. In a rolling 30 days they had 90 asphalt-shingle roofing leads, 26 window leads, and 22 siding leads. They have a seven-person sales team setting about 40 to 50 appointments a week and want more volume so each rep gets more than one or two leads a day.
