Cohen | Harris didn’t have a website prior to engaging us, so we built them one!
The first order of business was awesome photography, which can make or break the design of a website.
To accomplish that, we contracted Israel Orange, who takes incredible photos. His ability to get the right look and feel from the subject he’s photographing is unparalleled. He makes them feel comfortable, powerful, strong, friendly, inviting, etc.—whatever the shoot calls for.
We also had to design a logo, and this is what we came up with:
Once the photos were done and retouched and the logo was approved we were able to begin designing.
The client wanted a simple homepage that very clearly displayed the four general practice areas they cover: Criminal defense, protective orders, civil cases, and traffic. To accomplish that we created a simple, clean grid with calls to action to read more.
In addition to their practice areas, the client wanted to ensure that the website represented the brand, so we designed a hero image that showed both Martin and Roland as the powerful, confident lawyers that they are, with their logo and law firm name front and center.
The practice area pages are also really important, and for them we wanted to create pages that were visually appealing and also helpful for those who are in need of real help.
The page about the firm again shows Martin and Roland as the main image with calls to action to read more about them. We create individual pages for Martin and Roland (and for their associate), which is really important, because people will search for individual attorneys, so it’s important that each attorney has his own page that ranks in Google Search.
The contact page is super easy to use, featuring an attractive map in the background for decoration.
The site is beautiful on mobile devices and the responsiveness of it makes it look amazing no matter what device one is using.
And finally, the site is fast as sh*t:
